I received a call late one Thursday evening. A designer regularly work with had been stitched up by one of his developers, so he needed someone urgently to work on some WordPress Theme customisations. I was able to step in and finish the work of within 24 hours of that phone call, enabling the project to be finished on its original deadline.

I have been working on bespoke code for the Events Booking section of the Weston Hospice Care website since April 2012. There have been a number of items I've been commissioned to do for them, including a Sage Pay payment gateway for event bookings, additional team member data capture, custom tool tips on booking forms, improved administration data reporting and special donations pages.

The Visa Machine provides an online visa ordering service for users wishing to obtain visas to travel to different countries around the world. I have produced a bespoke application built from the ground up for The Visa Machine. Users can view, select and pay for the visas they want via an interactive map, as well as download the application forms and track the progress of their application. Cotmandene Training and Development were running a Flash website giving them no flexibility to add or edit content without getting the original designers involved. I installed and configured a Content Management System for Cotmandene and converted their old Flash design into HTML/CSS theme at a fraction of the cost of the original website.

I was approached by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce to develop a custom payment gateway for the events booking section of their website using the RealEx Payments online gateway. Payments were to be taken without leaving the Chamber of Commerce site, so I implemented this using the RealEx Integrated Payments option communicating with the RealEx API via XML calls, and made use of the RealMPI solution for additional card security.

Andy has a long term relationship with The Adventurists having been working on their website as far back as 2006. Working full time for The Adventurists between 2008 and 2011 Andy has been involved with all aspects of the bespoke website and adventure management systems. The bulk of Andy's work involves back end admin systems enabling the small team to administrate the adventures put on for 1000s of Adventurists, but also extended to an online shop, mailout systems, events sign up and live adventure...

Having previously developed plugins for another website run by this company, I was commissioned to develop a plugin for the Gold Insight website that listed live Gold Prices on the site, with automatic regular updates to keep the prices current.

Midland Ghost Hunters needed a website to sell tickets to a forthcoming event, and they needed it quickly. They were also on an incredibly tight budget. www.midlandghosthunters.co.uk is the functioning website allowing ticket sales to their events, produced in a matter of hours using a mixture of open source software and a premium plugin.

The Healing Project was built using the immensely flexible Drupal content management system. Andy was awarded via People Per Hour the job of configuring advanced features, fixing module bugs and writing a bespoke module for the site.

The team at Emerging Energy make good use of the Joomla CMS and the many plugins available for their website. They approached me to develop some bespoke plugins to enhance their website functionality.

The Intinerant is the online home of Ants Bolingbroke-Kent, "an occasional writer, inveterate traveller and lover of the curious and quirky". Having built her previous website, www.blackc90.com , Ants asked Andy to build, configure and style her latest site, The Itinerant.
